Guy Halford-Thompson

Guy is a thought leader and entrepreneur in the Canadian technology ecosystem. Over the last five years Guy has launched successful public and private ventures, raising over $30m CAD in funding and building over $0.5bn in investor value. Guy is a founder of BTL Group (TSXV:BTL) , the world’s first public blockchain company, a leading public cryptocurrency company.  Guy is passionate about gaming, and believes that E-Sports will be the next global driver of public markets.  

He founded Pepper in the summer of 2018 with a goal to build an ecosystem to bring gamers of all skill levels together to compete for real cash prizes.  Guy is also a board member of Eli, a real estate focused private blockchain company, MineHub, a technology company focused on driving transformative change in the metals and mining space using blockchain technology, and Neptune Dash, a listed company which gives investors direct exposure to the dash cryptocurrency.
