Robert Delamar

Mr. Delamar is a lawyer and high technology CEO with almost two decades of experience working in the start-up world, both internationally, and in Silicon Valley. Following articles at Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Vancouver, Mr. Delamar worked in an executive business development role for an Israeli satellite communications start-up that was sold to Gilat Satellite Networks in 2010. After founding and leading an international digital media company based in Silicon Valley, where he served as CEO between 2011 and 2014,
Mr. Delamar returned home to Vancouver to co-found and serve as the first CEO for Pacific Future Energy Corporation, a Near-Zero Net Carbon cleantech refinery project.

In 2015, Mr. Delamar and associates acquired a controlling stake in BitTorrent, Inc., based in San Francisco, where as co-CEO of the company, he lead a radical overhaul of the company’s business before divesting his stake in 2016. Since 2016, Mr. Delamar has been based in Vancouver where, in addition to legal practice, he has consulted for a number of local high tech companies.
