Dr. Hamza completed his MD and Family Practice degree at the University of Alberta in 1999. He's always had a special interest in the integration of technology into medical care. In 2005, Dr. Hamza founded HealthVue Medical which he grew to include four interconnected high-tech medical clinics serving over 100,000 patients. He also has extensive capital markets experience, helping fund and take private companies public and sitting on public company boards. In 2018, Premier Health Group (CSE:PHGI) acquired the clinics and Dr. Hamza came on board as the CEO.
With over 20 years’ experience practicing medicine and becoming all too familiar with the challenges facing the industry, Dr. Hamza is determined to disrupt the global healthcare delivery market by placing the power back in the hands of patients.
