Dominant Land Position
Gander Gold controls 1,850 sq. km across five major project areas in the heart of the Gander Gold Belt, including rapidly progressing Gander North where robust exploration results from extensive work in 2021 and 2022 highlight the impressive discovery potential at this 485 sq. km land package.
Using cutting edge technology and a multi-disciplined team, Gander Gold is following a proven exploration model for the under-explored Gander Gold Belt with geologists fine-tuning a growing inventory of high-priority diamond drilling targets as RAB drilling tests multiple anomalies.
The ``blue sky`` exploration potential of Gander Gold's dominant land position in the Gander Gold Belt has our team and investors excited. Preliminary drilling (RAB) started in May 2023. No previous drilling has ever been carried out on these grassroots properties, providing shareholders with tremendous discovery leverage.
Contiguous to Matador Deposits
Gander Gold has amassed a 323 sq. km claim block (Cape Ray II) contiguous to Matador Mining's Cape Ray Project moving toward potential production as one of the highest-grade open-pit projects in the world in the southwest part of the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.
Atlantic Canada's Largest Gold Resource
The potential of the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt is highlighted by Marathon Gold's multi-million ounce Valentine Gold Project, Atlantic Canada's largest gold resource with five deposits along a 20-km-long system. The first gold pour at Valentine is expected within two years.
Still Vastly Under-Explored
Where there's one multi-million ounce gold deposit, there are likely others in the region - more detailed regional exploration is required. Gander Gold is highly encouraged by favorable geology and recent results reported by multiple companies carrying out work throughout this part of the island.Read less
