Named one of Canada’s top ten marketers by Marketing Magazine, Alison Gordon is a respected Canadian personality, who has been credited with helping change the face of breast cancer globally.  As co-founder and EVP of Rethink Breast Cancer, Alison spent the first 15 years of her career working with breast cancer patients, educating and engaging physicians and being a spokesperson for the cause.  Alison has always taken an innovative approach to marketing and branding in the healthcare field, and is credited with growing a new generation of young breast cancer supporters, a previously untapped demographic, who were compelled by her ground-breaking campaigns, including the world famous YourManReminder.

Alison’s extensive work with patients, physicians and government, coupled with her entrepreneurial approach and marketing experience, propelled her to transition full time into the marijuana industry 3 years ago, both in Canada and the US. She has become an industry influencer in this exploding sector.  Her healthcare background, coupled with her breadth of knowledge of both cannabis and the business of cannabis, has her uniquely positioned as one of the few high level female “professionals” in the field. This enables Alison to speak credibly to a variety of audiences curious about cannabis—medical and recreational. Alison has amassed an immense amount of insight and relationships that are critical to success in this new and quick-changing industry. Starting in the industry as Chief Marketing Officer for WeedMD, Alison has travelled all over North America educating others on the subject of marijuana.
