Don Toporowski is responsible for the strategic direction and financial results of the $100 Million ACE Facility at University of Ontario Institute of Technology and for the operation of the ACE Centre for UAV Research. He is focused on building relationships with new partners and creating opportunities that maximize the utilization of the ACE facility for product commercialization, education, research and the local community.
As an experienced entrepreneur and expert marketer, Don has helped numerous companies, large and small, develop and launch new technologies. As an active member of the start-up ecosystem in Canada he also helps early-stage companies in the improvement of their business plans and pitches so that they can experience greater success in their fundraising efforts with investors.
Don is a graduate of the University of Waterloo where he earned a B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, and a graduate of the Executive Program at Queen's University School of Business.
