Detour Gold Provides Update on Criminal Negligence Charge

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 5, 2017) - Detour Gold Corporation (TSX:DGC) ("Detour Gold" or the "Company") reports that it entered a plea of guilty to one count of criminal negligence causing death in connection with the fatality that occurred at the Detour Lake mine site in June 2015. A sentencing hearing took place on August 30 and 31, 2017 in Cochrane, Ontario.
