After business school, Kev started his career in Institutional Finance where he worked in equity research, account management and corporate strategy for one of North America’s largest asset managers. Kev, along with a few colleagues, won a companywide competition on utilizing big data in investment management and he helped start the Blockchain division for the firm.

A natural entrepreneur, Kev was looking for a new challenge and quit the firm to pursue crypto investing, became a published blockchain author, travelled as a paid speaker, and eventually joined the founding team of a technology hardware startup.

With his background in investment management and recent experience in taking companies public, Kev fell in love with the world of small-cap investing. Realizing how outdated the industry was, sparked the idea for innovation to create mainstream educational resources for aspiring investors. With that goal in mind, Edge Investments was born.
