Stacey is the Director of Venture Programs at the BC Tech Association with a mandate to design and launch programmatic solutions to the top issues facing growth and scale stage tech companies in BC. Stacey started her career in Investment Banking, spending 8 years working across public and private markets at 4 investment firms (both multi-national and boutique) in a variety of roles. The learnings generated through these activities propelled Stacey to found a startup that uses advanced technology and mathematics to prevent workplace injuries, and the company is successfully deploying to Fortune 100 companies today. Stacey is passionate about using her experience with finance and entrepreneurship to help the next generation of entrepreneurs live out their mission, particularly those solving a meaningful world-issue while embodying ethical business, such as sustainability and diversity/inclusion.
