Lakelse Air Ltd. Helicopter Services has been airborne since our incorporation in 1991. Initially conceived to support the remote logging operations of Bear Creek Contracting, part of the Bear Creek Group, Lakelse air rapidly gained a reputation for speed, safety and efficiency. Responding to resource industry needs, Lakelse air expanded our services, making them available to all Bear Creek group customers.
Today, Lakelse Air offers charter services and heavy lift helicopter services to clients in British Columbia and across Canada. We provide helicopter services to many diverse sectors, including mining, seismic, technical services industries, environmental support, fire-fighting operations, search & rescue, emergency medical services, and heavy-lift aerial construction.
With bases in Terrace and Bob Quinn, BC, Lakelse Air is in a prime position to service key locales in Northern and Northwestern BC.
Our team of pilots, engineers and support staff are committed to excellent service and safety. We strive to exceed industry safety standards and continually adhere to the safety auditing processes from oil & gas clients, our mineral exploration clients and Transport Canada.
With an excellent safety record and tens of thousand of flight hours, Lakelse Air is now one of the largest and most called upon aviation charter companies in Northern BC.
