Anthem Resources Inc. is a Canadian exploration company which holds an exceptional package of 100%-owned properties, joint ventures and royalty interests in the prolific Athabasca basin of Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is mining-friendly and currently produces close to 20% of the world's uranium.
In addition, the Company holds a valuable portfolio of marketable securities and royalties acquired through investments and project farm-outs. The equity portfolio, valued at approximately $7.7 million (as of October 23, 2012) includes strategic shareholdings in Boss Power Corp., Nickel North Exploration Corp., Golden Band Resources Ltd., and other companies, giving us exposure to promising nickel-copper, gold and uranium exploration and development projects across Canada. Through our 37% holding in Boss Power, Anthem has significant exposure to that company's $30 million cash settlement with the British Columbia government. These shareholdings give the company the financial strength and flexibility to finance future acquisitions and exploration through the sale of shares, without dilution.
Anthem was formed through a plan of arrangement and spin out of assets to Virginia Energy Resources Inc. on September 28, 2012. The Company has a highly experienced management team with a successful track record of discovery, mine development and growing shareholder value.
Anthem's business plan is to continue to grow its value through focused exploration on its own properties, in-house generation of new projects, and project farm-outs, while seeking a new flagship gold, base-metal or uranium project.
