R. Cromwell Coulson is President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of OTC Markets Group, Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM), an operator of financial marketplaces for 10,000 U.S. and global securities.

In 1997, Cromwell led a group of investors to acquire OTC Markets Group’s predecessor business, the National Quotation Bureau (NQB), transforming an opaque and inefficient phone-based market into technology-driven, Open, Transparent and Connected financial marketplaces.  Today, OTC Markets Group operates the OTCQX®, OTCQB® and OTC Pink® marketplaces for 10,000 U.S. and global securities.  OTC Link® ATS, OTC Markets Group’s SEC registered Alternative Trading System, directly links a diverse network of leading U.S. broker-dealers that provide liquidity and execution services for these securities. OTC Markets Group has vastly increased the amount and quality of information available for investors and improved the efficiency of trading.

Prior to the acquisition of NQB, Cromwell was an institutional trader and portfolio manager specializing in distressed and value-oriented investments at Carr Securities Corporation, an institutional broker-dealer.  He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and graduated from the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.  Cromwell has testified in front of Congress and regularly speaks on industry roundtables regarding capital access and market structure issues.

OTC Link ATS is operated by OTC Link LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member and wholly-owned subsidiary of OTC Markets Group.
