Carolyn Relf is the director of Yukon Geological Survey. She has a PhD from Queen’s University in structural geology and Precambrian tectonics, and a MSc from Memorial University that focused on geochemistry. She spent the first 25 years of her career in Canada’s North, mapping and studying the geology and mineral potential in areas of NWT and Nunavut. She has been with YGS since 2008, overseeing the work of the survey to ensure it meets the needs of its various client groups.
